Upcoming gigs?

Seen a few Springsteen tribute acts.
They are just a good night out listening to the songs being played by a band who love the music as much as I do.
I like some of the names of tribute bands......such as the all female Zeppelin tribute act.....Lez Zeppelin !
I saw the Springsteen Sessions a while back really good night

Was at psychedelic furs and squeeze last week.
Top notch.
Next up Elvis Costello and the imposters.

Young Fathers at the Usher Hall tonight.

Not seen them live yet but love their records and have heard good things.

Not sure if it counts as a gig but Jimmy Carr next Monday. I’m not convinced but was invited along. We shall see.
Elvis and the imposters in January

My psychologist has told me to get myself down to Leith Depot. At £5.80 for a pint of Guinness it might not be too often.I have seen Atilla the Stockbroker there and was at Raymond Morell's 50th.

Potentially got couple spare tickets for the Charlatans at Barrowlands on Sunday 26th November if anyone interested

I follow him on twitter can't remember why though (!), must habe drawn my attention to some groovy track or other.

Can you recommend one album that shows off his playing best?

Anybody going to see Secret Affair tonight at the Voodoo Rooms, sold out apparently.

Sorry didn't hear about it.The Jam for me was my full stop for New Mod.I tried listening to the Merton Parkas etc but none of them ever did much for me.

Well I've got Blueberry Hill,I've got two 12 inch singles Betrayal and How Much are they? With Holger Czukay and Jaki Leibzeit from Can fame are absolute corkers.Last night I bought an album called Guanyin which has got a Chinese flavour to it.I enjoyed it so much I played it twice. But the album he featured last night was Metal Box in Dub.The first Pil album dubbed up really nicely.

I'd forgotten all about the Metal Box in dub gig at St Lukes last week ;o(
Still one of my favourite and most played albums.

Saw Arab Strap playing Philophobia at Summerhall last night brilliant gig and met quite a few hibbies there.
Saw Withered Hand and Hollie Mcnish in same venue on Friday night.

Also went to this play at Traverse today and will see it again later in week but otherwise no more gigs this year, been a good run recently

Partners bairn wants concert tickets for her Christmas. Thinks she's a hard-core rocker now. Heard Metallica in that show on Netflix and hasn't looked back. Listens to some good stuff now at least 😅

So we're seeing Greenday at Bellahouston Park in June or something!
Sent me a link to slipknot next December today. 13, would be 14 by then, never been to anything anywhere, no sure she's built for that.
I've no been in a moshpit for a very long while though 🤔

Long shot but.....I have two spare tickets for Transmission - The Sound of Joy Division tonight at Stereo in Glasgow, a stones throw from Central Station. Any one up for it?
