Just as I predicted, when the anniversary of the despicable racist murder of Stephen Lawrence was being shown all over the media on 22nd of April I said wait and see how the anniversary of the horrific racist ,islamist murder of army musician Lee rigby on the 22nd of may would be remembered.
As I suspected, zilch,nada, it unsurprisingly passed the MSM by almost completely
 
How are they even comparable?

The Lawrence murder affected changes in the law and was still being dragged through the courts decades later, keeping it in the news. The Rigby case was fairly open and shut. The guys who did it were caught and banged up within months.

They're comparable because two people were horrifically murdered for racial reasons.
One is remembered and one isn't.
Ones mother was made a dame, the others wasnt

Even the Lee Rigby Foundation and nothing going on on the anniversary of his murder.

Maybe his family just want to get on with it in their own way.

But that's not the whole story, is it? Stephen Lawrence's murder exposed a a rotton corruption at the heart of policing. It was a gross failure of the state that is meant to protect and serve all citizens. Even the Daily Mail took up the case. Lee Rigby's murder was grotesque. But to try to turn this into a race thing by suggesting that Stephen Lawrence is only remembered because of his race is to spectacularly miss the point.

How was the Rigby case for racial reasons? Rigby was targeted because he was in the army, not because he was white.

The Rigby case is absolutely remembered. Why there would be media coverage of the 13th anniversary of it though is beyond me? It was heavily covered on the 10th anniversary as these things usually are.

Lawrence's mother was made a dame for her campaigning and charity work after the murder. Could Rigby's mum get the same for her foundation? Sure. Is that what's bothering you though? I doubt it.

Why is Stephen Lawrence remembered? Because he was murdered?
I dont think so, black guys are murdered all the time, usually by other black guys.And you never hear of them again.
He's remembered because he was murdered by white racists.

Rigby was murdered by two black islamists for serving his country.
Stephen Lawrence isn't remembered for his race particularly he's remembered for the race of his attackers.

I think you're maybe misunderstanding how the media works in cases like this.

They rely on a press release or similar. It might include a suggested article, with quotes, for them to put in their media.

As I've pointed out to you already the Lee Rigby Foundation don't look as they have done anything to celebrate his life or mark his death on this anniversary so there's nothing for the media to pick up on.

Islam isn't a race, right? The perpetrators being black doesn't make it racist unless they were motivated by the fact Rigby was white. There's no evidence that was the case.

I'm suggesting you're stretching for a reason to be bothered by comparing two completely unrelated cases because of your weird obsession with racism.

Arseholes like Britain first,Tommy Robinson etc have tried to use his death to further their cause.

This is being deliberately framed to make it look like Stepen Lawrence is being remembered because he was black and Lee Rigby isn't because he was white. We know Stephen Lawrence was killed because he was black. We know Lee Rigby was killled because he was a soldier. Woyld his killers have killed a black soldier? Who knows?

I agree. The two situations are different. The case of Kriss Donald is more pertinent, but few people have heard of it.

You only have to see how many homeless people are veterans...to see that.

The media mentioned more about Sir George the crackhead Floyd than Lee Rigby on the anniversary of his death.
