Tv series

Just watched the last episode of this one about Edinburgh.

Highly recommend this as the things they find out about the folk who lived there is fascinating......

On a bit of a serial killer run at the moment, just started Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy on ITVX.

Wish Netflix had made a third series of Mindhunter, that was different class.

Just binge watched Blue Lights.

Good series. Couple of pony bits but overall it is a good watch.

Just realised the woman who plays Cissy (the ma) in Snowfall was in The Wire.

Born in Brum as well.

Someone earlier said Silo S4 was on the go. Wasn't sure what I had seen or not cos ages ago last time looked.

So revisited most of S2 which was great and just finished S3 so finally - 2 months later? - ready to start S4. Which I presume will be the final series? (No, haven't read the books which folk seem to like better than the TV series)

Epic tale and for such a drawn-out story, it has been well shot and thoroughly entertaining so far.

Me tae.

I wanted to wait till they were all in, but smashed the 1st 2 episodes on Monday. Thought both were brilliant.

Looking forward to watching the night
There's no much else to watch so it's difficult to let the episodes build up.

Anyone watching East of Eden?

Books you say? What are these folk-memory devices?

Everest reacue.
Its all about the helicopter pilots who risk their lives day in day out… A helicopter lands at camp 2 @ 21,000 ft to save someone, after trying at 23,000ft, with a long line to hoist guy up, when his alarms on the helicopter were going off, had to abort. mental stuff.
Pretty good. Amazing scenery

First episode is boss Stu. Shaping up nice for the rest.

Pity about the dug though.

Slow Horses.

This new series has been a bit of a disappointment story wise.

Starting to watch The Night Manager. Anyone watched it?

Series 1. Watched the first episode.
I’ve watched both series. Really enjoyed them. Hugh Laurie is a revelation and a world away from his Blackadder character.

See the episode where they’re sitting in a restaurant in the alps with the Matterhorn in the background, I stayed in that hotel last time I was in Zermatt. Chalethotel Schöenegg.

I'll stick with it then. I'm no doing anything the morn so I'll watch another couple of episodes. 👍🏻

The Night Manager has a Scottish geezer as a security guy called Frisky.

I knew the face then remembered he was in Looking After Jo Jo.

Opinions, eh? Thought Hugh Lawrie was dreadful in it. Over the top hammy. Tom Hollander, however, was outstanding.
