I just binged through The Westies after reading reviews on here.

Really enjoyed it. The dealings of the Irish mob and the Gambinos. Thought the lad who played John Gotti was tremendous. A very credible score of 62/70.

Good rule of thumb, Jimmy. If the Grauniad hates it, it's probably good and if they love it, it's probably woke shite. They were quite sniffy about the new series of Slow Horses.

I've watched it before. A fairly routine poor gadgie becomes big time dealer type thing.

Cheers I'll definitely give it a watch.. loads of good stuff on YouTube that are hidden away... I've been watching the hammer house of horror series as well... great to just switch off from all the modern shite.

binged a wee series about Japanese samurai, a remake of Shogun (Dicky Chamberlain). It was called Shogun. Loads of seppuku and heids getting chopped off. A bit wordy, and Im glad Im no a japanese, my back couldnae take all the bowing going on. Marks; Was quite good, extra points for the naughty sword play. A credible 6.2/7.0

Watched Monster: The Lizzie Borden story on Netflix. It's not had great reviews but I quite enjoyed it, better than the previous Ed Gein one anyway. Cracking soundtrack too.
