Tv series

Bergerac the reboot is pretty decent. 2 seasons so far and hopefully there'll be more.

Just started watching The Capture.

Two episodes in and it is a very decent watch.

The first series of The Capture was decent.

The second series was a wee bit no so good.

The third series is a bit on the meh side.

We're almost done with season 1 of The Pitt. Brilliant stuff.
I'm not a huge fan of medical dramas, but this was really well done. Totally gripping. ER meets 24. Shows the psychological toll on staff working in a busy A&E superbly.

So I started to watch The Pitt.

It's started off no too bad.

I'm listening to the actors though and the terminology they had to learn in the script.

Fair play to them.

Humm... terminology was the clue in an xword I was doing the other day. The answer was nomenclature, naming system I guess. Live n lern eh 😀

Just finished episode two of Half Man. It's pretty fuckin dark, but has kept my interest and will watch episode 3 tonight.

A follow up to the excellent Danish detective series 'The Chestnut Man' on Netflix starts tomorrow. The first season is well worth a watch, hopefully 'Hide & Seek' hits the mark. It's the same detectives from the first season.

Legends. Netflix.
Steve Coogan. Tom Burke.
About ordinary civil servants going undercover and stopping heroin importation.
True story( dramatises obviously!) From the 1990's.
Watched all 6 last night.

I binge watched the rest of The Pitt and finished it at 2 bells this morning.

Excellent drama. And I read online that a series 3 has been commissioned.

A couple of the characters are being binned but they were not part of the central cast so they are no really any loss.

The surgery parts were excellent from a realistic view.

Started this last night too!
Looked good so far.

Just had a look at Legends and read this. The gadgie is indeed from Dundee.

Neil Forsyth grew up in Dundee, Scotland, where he attended the High School of Dundee and his first writing appeared in a Dundee United fanzine.

Legends is a British crime drama television series written and created by Neil Forsyth and produced by his Tannadice Pictures production company.

“The Dark Wizard” on HBO Max. About American climber Dean Potter. Absolutely brilliant. Some spectacular/terrifying bits in it.

Same here. On episode 2. I knew I'd seen the wee black gadgie in something before and it turns out he was in The Bill.

Don't like Steve Coogan though. He's very high on the twatometer.

Legends is loosely based on a geezer called
John Haase.

Big player back in Liverpool back in the day.

Gomorrah seemed to be a popular watch amongst the worthies on here.

So netflix has another Italian series called Subarra.

Set in Rome is watchable. No a patch on Gomorrah though....

Just watched series 1. Compares well with loads of other similar hospital dramas. Noah Wyle (Dr Robby) was in ER for years.
Best thing about it is it goes straight in. None of the last episode recap and long intro.
