Tv series

Finished Adolescence last night. Incredible piece of telly and really well acted but it’s a hard watch. The last episode in particular. Almost wish I hadn’t watched it?

I agree it was hard to watch in parts, but i've never seen a better made, better acted, and more powerful TV drama in my life before.
Should win every award going, and it deserves to.

I'm glad it's got these awards but not gonna watch it. Been thru similar in real life is why. I think obvs cos haven't seen it. But powerfully convinced of those types of talks. Tough stuff.

The school children singing Fragile at the end of episode 3 was haunting and emotional.
That scene really got me. 😢

And I thought this was a brilliant touch at the very end of the series.....

Adolescence's director Philip Barantini has also shed some light onto why the song was used in the final scene, saying to Tudum he "couldn’t stop thinking about it [the song]". Barantini also revealed they discovered the actress who plays Katie, Emilia Holliday, can sing and so they wanted to include her vocals within the track.

The heartbreaking reason why they included her vocals? "Katie is a part of the whole series. Her presence is always there," Barantini revealed.

Never noticed that, thanks for highlighting. It was a beautiful but sad touch.
Correction, I think the scene might have been at the end of episode 2?

Watched it last week. Stephen Graham is one fabulous actor. As is Christine Tremarco. Their bedroom scene in the last episode was stunning.

OMFG...series 7. What a load of fucking shite. Surely only appreciated by those who love mindless violence and don't care if the narrative makes no sense.
I'm embarrassed I stuck with it.
They gave biker gangs a bad name eh BK?

Does nobody watch 24hours in A&E . Real life stories about real people and their life journey, love it . Can be a bit gorey at times like a guy with half his face hanging off due to a machinery malfunction 😩 Lets you see what others go through 👏👏👏👏

I have watched the first 24 Hours ones about the bizzies on channel 4.

Some good take downs on that.

Just started watching This City is Ours.

On episode 2. Pretty standard gangster type thing but set in Liverpool and Spain.

Good outcomes for both operations, I was about greeting there 😢
Apologies for replying to myself 🤣
Real life stories, good stuff 👍

MobLand. What a cast is in it. Episode 1 hmm ok ish.

I hope it doesn't end up like Gangs of London which I think was pony.

The latest 1923 is a good un though.

Episode 1 of Mobland is on't firestick
Watched that last night.

Pierce Brosnan's accent........ for an Irishman sounded pretty much Welsh with an Indian mother.

Decent start though, have high hopes.

Edit: To be clear he IS actually Irish, but his accent sounded a bit like Mel Gibson's Scottish accent.
