Funny, I was thinking Livi, Dundee or St. Johnstone might be interested in him. I love his attitude and willingness but he just hasn’t made any spot his own and I’d imagine he’ll be after a regular starting place.I wonder if Campbell might be away; fairly down the pecking order? Whether perm or loan, I’d imagine he would be the type of player that would suit the likes of Livi down to a tee. No links whatsoever, just an opinion!
Well this is it, he’s a hard working lad with a good engine and same as you, reckon he’d be wanting to play first team football rather than get a handful of games with us, at best.Funny, I was thinking Livi, Dundee or St. Johnstone might be interested in him. He's another David Wotherspoon/Simon Murray .Both players who didn't quite make it at Hibs and came back to torment us with other clubs.Well this is it, he’s a hard working lad with a good engine and same as you, reckon he’d be wanting to play first team football rather than get a handful of games with us, at best.
Torment seems a bit much? I just think they found their level (certainly in Wotherspoons case)He's another David Wotherspoon/Simon Murray .Both players who didn't quite make it at Hibs and came back to torment us with other clubs.

Callum Booth. I was delighted when he broke through at Hibs; was one of the few things to get excited about re Hibs at that point and my hopes for him would be akin to how it played out for Doig (albeit with a bit more game time with us).Could be a Stevenson, Hanlon instead. Campbell needs to find a consistency but he's so underappreciated.
Legend at another club in our league, Callum Booth too.
My cousin and uncle are St Johnstone to the bone, love both of them.

Completely agreeI remember posting a while after he had broke through and his performances fell apart, that we all built him up so much, because the team was so bad. Being the only bright spark distorted reality.
In a good side he probably would've stood a chance tbf. (Nightlife rumours ignored)
St.Johnstone were our 'bogey' team for a long time and Wotherspoon was part of that. He's another David Wotherspoon/Simon Murray .Both players who didn't quite make it at Hibs and came back to torment us with other clubs.

Simon Murray was a good player as well. Would run through a brick wall. The other two, not so much.Torment seems a bit much? I just think they found their level (certainly in Wotherspoons case)
This is true but then we weren’t beating many teams in those days!St.Johnstone were our 'bogey' team for a long time and Wotherspoon was part of that.

Even worse when there are ex players in these teams. Ex players because of our shite managers decisions ?This is true but then we weren’t beating many teams in those days!
I think that just shows how much of a mess we were in; it was like a doom spiral of continuous dross. I don’t mean to be disrespectful to St Johnstone but I’d hope we could attract a better calibre of player than them, across the whole starting eleven.Even worse when there are ex players in these teams. I agree and thankfully we now do.I think that just shows how much of a mess we were in; it was like a doom spiral of continuous dross. I don’t mean to be disrespectful to St Johnstone but I’d hope we could attract a better calibre of player than them, across the whole starting eleven.

He's scored some good goals but it honestly baffles me what a minority of folk see in him other than he's a Hibby. As you've noted the model we're working to is to have x3 players for each position and for them to be able to adapt as well to squad needs. Can see him leaving on loan. A Livi or St J is his level.David Gray gave Josh Campbell the opportunity to stake his claim to be the “number 10” last season, I don’t think Josh has done nearly enough to take it unfortunately.
Hoilett played there a lot last season, McGrath was signed for that role in the summer, and young Molotnikov is looking to make the break through… too many players for the position, and I think Campbell may have become the odd one out.

That was a pretty awful midfield right enough. Does anyone "dislike" Campbell? Of course not. People are using the evidence of their own eyes. He's struggling to control the ball, pass accurately and his frustration makes him lunge into tackles incurring bookings.I don't get the dislike of Josh. Still being held back by the Newell/Campbell/JDH midfield image.
Be interesting to see how Huns are affording some of the feesSounds like the Ugly Sisters’ revolving doors will be spinning all day with highly publicised arrivals and departures. Meanwhile no mention on BBC website, other than Youan, of any movement at ER which is how I like it. Hopefully Malky and David have a deal or two going through under the radar.
Hasnt really settled here apparentlyManneh rumoured to be leaving.. time will tell
Course they do.Does anyone "dislike" Campbell? Of course not.

Yes that foreign football type who wants to make a good career out of not playingI'll be amazed if Youan leaves. I've long thought his plan is to see out his contract picking up a nice wage contributing very little. He's a strange character.
