Another striker hopefully coming in any other ins from you fellow hibees ? Youhan looks away ? Maybe rudi or megwa on loan 🤔

I wonder if Campbell might be away; fairly down the pecking order? Whether perm or loan, I’d imagine he would be the type of player that would suit the likes of Livi down to a tee. No links whatsoever, just an opinion!

Think david has took him out the firing line tbf 😳 unfortunately if you wanna be up near the top josh doesn't meet the standard required 🤔

Funny, I was thinking Livi, Dundee or St. Johnstone might be interested in him. I love his attitude and willingness but he just hasn’t made any spot his own and I’d imagine he’ll be after a regular starting place.

Well this is it, he’s a hard working lad with a good engine and same as you, reckon he’d be wanting to play first team football rather than get a handful of games with us, at best.

He's another David Wotherspoon/Simon Murray .Both players who didn't quite make it at Hibs and came back to torment us with other clubs.

Could be a Stevenson, Hanlon instead. Campbell needs to find a consistency but he's so underappreciated.

Torment seems a bit much? I just think they found their level (certainly in Wotherspoons case)

Legend at another club in our league, Callum Booth too.
My cousin and uncle are St Johnstone to the bone, they love both of them.

Callum Booth. I was delighted when he broke through at Hibs; was one of the few things to get excited about re Hibs at that point and my hopes for him would be akin to how it played out for Doig (albeit with a bit more game time with us).

I remember posting a while after he had broke through and his performances fell apart, that we all built him up so much, because the team was so bad. Being the only bright spark distorted reality.

In a good side he probably would've stood a chance tbf. (Nightlife rumours ignored)

Completely agree

Can confirm that the nightlife rumours are true 😂

Even worse when there are ex players in these teams. Ex players because of our shite managers decisions ?
I think that just shows how much of a mess we were in; it was like a doom spiral of continuous dross. I don’t mean to be disrespectful to St Johnstone but I’d hope we could attract a better calibre of player than them, across the whole starting eleven.

Striker and a quality winger, we are looking weak on the right wing back position, would love us to strengthen there to. Youan, Campbell, Megwa, possibly Rudi all out.

I agree and thankfully we now do.

Couple of loans and maybe a permanent signing I'm predicting... As a footballer why would you not want to work under a great coach like Sir Dave and his team given what they've done in the last year.

Aye the rumours of CB can stand up to some scrutiny I'm pretty sure.
My youngest worked in a bar CB frequented, and he was fond of a drink or three.

I'm pretty sure my son is spot on, otherwise my wife is a lying bitch and he's not my son, or it was he that was fond of the drink and not CB.

I feel I'm losing the thread a bit here.

Can @Yogi B83 get this back on track?

I liked wotherspoon and was sorry to see him go. He bossed our midfield in the Jack Ross final.
I’m less a fan of Campbell, but unless he’s demanding to start every game, I reckon he’s a useful squad player.

Sounds like the Ugly Sisters’ revolving doors will be spinning all day with highly publicised arrivals and departures. Meanwhile no mention on BBC website, other than Youan, of any movement at ER which is how I like it. Hopefully Malky and David have a deal or two going through under the radar.

David Gray gave Josh Campbell the opportunity to stake his claim to be the “number 10” last season, I don’t think Josh has done nearly enough to take it unfortunately.

Hoilett played there a lot last season, McGrath was signed for that role in the summer, and young Molotnikov is looking to make the break through… too many players for the position, and I think Campbell may have become the odd one out.

He's scored some good goals but it honestly baffles me what a minority of folk see in him other than he's a Hibby. As you've noted the model we're working to is to have x3 players for each position and for them to be able to adapt as well to squad needs. Can see him leaving on loan. A Livi or St J is his level.

If Campbell isnt good enough at his age loans are pointless. He's a hard working industrious player who could still do a turn for a Dundee or a Kilmarnock or Livi. Hope he gets sold to somewhere he can get a regular first team slot.

Didn't Campbell miss half a season last term through injury?

Not sure Hoilett is hitting the mark this term so far and Molotnikov still has to prove himself before being listed ahead of Josh surely?

The thing that'll hold Josh back more than anything this term is the change of shape... Playing 2 behind/wide of Bowie instead of 1 behind the 2 up top means there's no actual spot for him.

I don't get the dislike of Josh. Still being held back by the Newell/Campbell/JDH midfield image.
Still young, still early in his career, still plenty time to find a consistency to match his work rate.

Good person to have around if not a starting 11 every week.

That was a pretty awful midfield right enough. Does anyone "dislike" Campbell? Of course not. People are using the evidence of their own eyes. He's struggling to control the ball, pass accurately and his frustration makes him lunge into tackles incurring bookings.

Be interesting to see how Huns are affording some of the fees

Course they do.

Is he frustrated? Or is he doing what he's asked? Looks like a player who's been told to go get physical.

Don't mind chatting about his failings, everyone at Hibs has them, but I hate the blanket not good enough chat. He's been good enough, he's a big part of some of the points we won and played a big part in getting us to third.

Up to him to keep up, anything can happen, but he's not here and not good enough to be.
Everyone who wasn't good enough is gone.

I'll be amazed if Youan leaves. I've long thought his plan is to see out his contract picking up a nice wage contributing very little. He's a strange character.

Yes that foreign football type who wants to make a good career out of not playing
