That’s a shocker. Head and chest injuries apparently.

Seen that earlier Stu. Poor guy. The keeper now has a lifetime to think about that challenge and it's consequences.

WTF was the keeper thinking about ffs.

It was 2-2 and the final minute of added time. Keeper’s one thought was I need to get to the ball first. It’s a tragic outcome that from initial images the keeper had no intent of causing and he may well need to be on suicide watch because he knows he’s accidentally killed the guy.

Can't see the keeper playing again to be honest as whoever he is playing against their fans will give him abuse.

I just read the fans were chanting murderer at him when he left the pitch.

I noticed while walking off after red card, he seen all the melee around the player and ran back to see if he was ok. As you guys say, tragic

It looked to me like he had no chance of legitimately getting the ball and just piled in.

Reminiscent of Schumacher v Battiston back in '82.

On that occasion not even a yellow ...... or even a foul given?

Thats why he led with his knee high of course.

Im sure he never meant to kill him...but he was probably quiet happy to take him out.
