Former hun defender from the 70's dies aged 71.

My brother and I were taken by one of my mum's friends to the Scotland v England game at Hampden in 1976 when Forsyth made that last minute tackle on Mick Channon to prevent a certain equaliser for England. That was the game when Dalglish put the ball through Clemence's legs. I was right up on that old east terrace with my brother. Fantastic childhood memory.

Forsyth was hard as nails, and in truth could be a bit of an animal on the park. He had over 300 games for the huns and played for Motherwell for a few years as well.

RIP Tam and thanks for making that tackle and giving us all a great day all those years ago.
