Hi everyone
I hope some of you already know who we are, but if you don't here's a wee biography:
2013 saw the launch of a new monthly newspaper—and associated website—named The Irish Voice. The publication seeks to celebrate and represent the Irish community in Scotland; strengthen Irish identity; and educate, inform and record the history of the Irish community in Scotland.
The Irish Voice is a free publication, which seeks to give the Irish community a definitive voice in Scotland’s multicultural society. The publication, while including a wealth of news and features, also includes contributions from all sectors of the Irish community in Scotland, including dance, music groups, Irish language groups, the Gaelic Athletic Association and much more. Community groups are also assured of full involvement in The Irish Voice. We have a monthly Hibs column written by the excellent Ian Colquhoun and often have features on the club too from the likes of Brian Duffy.
The newspaper is backed by many within the Irish community in Scotland and we hope that many more will support us in our endeavours to better represent the Irish community here in Scotland through The Irish Voice.
If you have any ideas for stories or features, know a business that would like to advertise with us, can help us with distribution or know an outlet that would like to stock The Irish Voice then contact us at: info@theirishvoice.com
Our website can be accessed at: www.theirishvoice.com
Give a like/follow on Facebook: www.facebook.com/theirishvoice
Follow us on X/Twitter and Bluesky: www.twitter.com/theirishvoiceuk and The Irish Voice (@theirishvoice.bsky.social)
We also have a podcast called Irish Voices, which we're endeavouring to add to in the near future at: Irish Voices Podcast
Anyway in which you could give us support and help us grow we'd be really grateful for. Thank you!
