trust me , I'm a doctor .( sparky really )
What has happened to Chelsea this season defies all logic. They are the current league champions. They have a squad of top class players on massive salaries and have been managed by a coach who is recognised as being one of the best in the world..yet they are just above the relegation zone in mid December. No doubt in my mind as I have said before that the incident with the club doctor at the start of the season had massive consequences. I suspect many of the players lost a lot of respect for Mourinho over that. He clearly has had a problem with several of the senior players who have simply stopped playing for him.
At the end of the day Mourinho has suffered the same fate as every other football manager in the world gets when they have terrible results over a long period of time. They get the sack. It's a results business and the rewards are great when you win matches but it's equally you suffer the consequences when you don't. However, the guy is a multi-millionaire and will walk into another top job in football very soon.
He won't get the Man United job IMO...that's more likely to go to Guardiola who is a much better fit as a manager for them. Man United have paid the price of a lack of proper forward planning in my view. Ferguson should have been bringing through a successor in his last few years at the club who was in his mould and wanted the game played the same way as he did. Van Gaal is a square peg in a round hole at Man United.
Just read Ferguson's last book. He tells that story about Pep and says Mourinhio, Ancelotti and Klopp were all in employment so hands were tied. How they got from that selection to a manager who has won zero top flight, nevermind European, trophies is not explained.Apparently Ferguson had a meeting with Guardiola while Pep was still at Barcelona and told him not to accept any other management job until he'd spoken with Sir Alex. It was Guardiola who was to be anointed for the MUFC gig but he went to Bayern and United had to go for the now forgotten man of football who was doing a decent job at Everton
I can honestly say i`ve never liked his arrogant, high self-opinion. I`ve always thought he was a twat of the highest order and seeing him get emptied is amusing. I actually switch channels when he turns up to talk his pish.
Found it funny though how the English media seemed to turn on him. They drooled over his every word once but he`s been dumped and they`re slabbering over Klopp now as he becomes their new object of adoration.

Signs on tomorrow.
a lot of folk dislike him and your point about style of play is fair, but I don't think the bit in bold is fair given he won the champs league with Porto. If you look at the teams who won it before and after they stand out as the non 'super club' to win it in living memory. Like Ferguson he's done it with and without a cheque book which is no mean feat - there the comparisons end (apart from both being grumpy feckers - but I think he has to be given that much,Just read Ferguson's last book. As for Mourinhio himself, he's a cheque book manager who introduced a dull, negative brand of football into what what was once a league full of attacking talent.
