The sending off.

Of the young guy playing for Arsenal.
Right to red? Or a yellow would've been correct.
For me. Its red. 'Professional' fouls should be punished with a red card every time.
It would stop all this 'took one for the team' nonsense.
He's caught him high.

I've no problem with the decision it's the consistency that annoys me. The tackle by the Ipswich player on endo I think it was on Saturday was shocking yet no-one looked at it. The number of shocking tackles where the player rakes down the back of their opponent doesn't seem to justify a red. I've no dea what is red and a yellow tbh.

Shocker from the ref.

Red for me. Incredibly late deliberate foul. Lucky not to injure his opponent. Didn’t then go and check on his opponent afterwards. Kids watch this stuff and replicate it at the weekend. I remember Ian Murray getting a straight red at Parkhead for a kick out that was similar. So it does happen.

Arteta would have you believe there is a conspiracy of decisions against Arsenal when the opposite is true. They often get the benefit of decisions given their status. Not the first time that managers under pressure do this. Michael Oliver now getting a tirade of abuse and death threats. I think the managers forget the responsibility that they have.

My son plays grassroots football, this weekend we had the opposition coach abusing the youth referee. He must have thought that was acceptable, he wasn’t biased towards either team and gave the foul he was swearing about. The youth referee does academy and professional team matches at a level way beyond grassroots so thankfully wasn’t too phased by this absolute clown.

Watch my grandson on a Sunday morning and tbh the referees are mostly rubbish but I've not heard any of the coaches giving them abuse. However, some of the parents think they are at Ibrox. A few weeks ago a couple got sent away from the game or the ref was abandoning the game.

The tackle was on Matt Doherty?

Clean tackle.

Red for being a cock

In my 10 years of coaching the heckling from excitable parents got worse each year. Packed in a couple of years ago and don't miss it one bit. Worse abuse was from the parents when we played Spartans away. Seem to think it was some sort of expected. Community club my erse.
