Agreed. There needs to be a serious change in attitude from RP and the board if we are to sustain a challange for 3rd place and cups on a regular basis. Im afraid with the squad we have at present there is next to no hope of that.

Petrie claims he repeatadly asked collins what he wanted and JC wouldnt tell him after he said he was resigning. Whether thats true or not im not sure. What i am convinced about is that JC would not have been asking for unreasonable amounts and therefore the blame can only lie in one corner (The tache man) :tuttut: for the fiasco of the past 24 hours.

I find that pathetic if true. JC should have been given the board's backing morally and financially before he handed in his resignation.

:giggle: Was that meant? :lookaround:

This morning when i wrote that post i have to admit i wasnt sure if i believed that JC wouldnt try and comprimise after offering to resign, but after the Sanchez developments today im not so sure. Collins may have just been looking to get out any way he could

It's beginning to look as if there may be other reasons why Collins was so adamant. Let's see what happens next.
