The Gunt Thread - Stick all your posts about the puddle drinkers here.

Until Hearts made 4 subs...They were not upto much, and full of mistakes.

An Aberdeen team that had actually played a few competitive games, opposed to none at all....would of scored at least one.

It was really like a library till the 2nd goal.

Didn't see any of it....but not really a surprise that Hearts won that game.
They are pretty strong at home, and Aberdeen have a terrible record at Tynecastle.

I am not saying his claims will come true as it seems a bit far fetched, but he’s at least wanting ambition to achieve something special.

Also as much as people mock them going on about Jamestown Analytics, it’s proven to work extremely well.

What exactly do we get out of our deal with Foley and the Black Knights? Them undermining our manager last season and not much else.

Be nice to see them care about us challenging for trophies

Their game was on in the background. Hertz looked dangerous and fast going forward. That looks to be their strength. They will test a lot of teams IF they can keep that up (The sheep started well last season).
Never really tested at the back as the sheep were pants, even at that the sheep missed 2 glaring chances.

Oh dear. It looks like they are going to be tiresomely competitive this year.
McInnes builds teams that can compete well in this division. Bloom has a track record of unearthing good players for different levels and improving sides.

I guess in a way McInnes is the unknown whether he's got it in him to really challenge at the top. And for all his successes, Bloom obviously still doesn't really get Scottish football if he thinks he can tip up and seriously challenge. A few decent bargain signings aren't going to compete with the spending of Celtc and the Huns. Not over the course of a season imo. I think they're our biggest rivals for third though

Yam Fandan told us last season that they would split the Old Bigots.
Obviously the trainee Nostradamus was out by a year, because Tony Bloom has clarified that it is THIS season, although he also isn't entirely sure, as the Gunts may not split them, but consign them to also rans.

I've given up hope for Hibs in the light of these statements, and have thrown away my ST, bought a maroon cardigan and had my tattoo lasered off and am trying to get a taste for drinking out of puddles.

Not all (any) of the above statements, like myself, can hold much water.

Want to buy a Rover and a pair of driving gloves?

Gunts fuck up with another young player.

Freed by them last year St Johnstone striker Makenzie Kirk is being chased by a few English clubs including Pompey. The bids are currently around £500k 😆

Imagine if a gunt done this until they win the League Cup?

Saw these gems in my local park. Where to even start?

The word 'trendy' is pure Partridge. The sort of thing my late mum would have said in the 80s, like 'with-it' to show she was down with the kids.
There has never been and never will be anything cool about the Gunts, particularly if the illustration in exhibit B is anything to go by.
It was the only time I wished I had a Great Dane rather than a Jack Russell so that it could cock it's leg at the correct height.
Also highly apposite, as the colour scheme indicates, that these stickers were on a litter bin full to the brim with bags of dog shit.

I was in Dalry Rd. three weeks ago and I spotted on the lampost banners celebrating Hertz, presumably put up by the Cooncil. Why is my hard earned cash going to celebrate the puddledrinkers? Also fair's fair if they are going to put up banners for the Hertz put up banners in Easter Road for us, especially in an anniversary year.If it hasnae been the Cooncil then fair enough.

Celebrating what?

Dinny fret, to win the league( not going to happen )
They’ll have to beat us more than once out of three + get results at darkheid x two , another win at ipox with their new manager, go to st midden and win just for starters 🤣

Hearts have a decent chance this season, only because Celtic and Rangers have been so poor.
O'Neil's return might give Celtic the boost they need.
Hearts have had a great start, but it's tough going to keep winning most weeks over a 10 month season.
IMO they will be there or thereabouts, however Celtic will strengthen big time in January as failing to win the league title is just not an option for them.

Sounds like another gunts fuck up!

Question. When you sign a player on a pre-contract when would you expect them to join the club?

Normal answer - the summer.

The gunts did a pre-contract with Kazakhstani winger Islam Chesnokov in January. But the Kazakhstani Premier League dates are different from ours which means his current club don't have to release until November and he then can't register with them until January 2026!

His current club are no playing ball and are hanging on for more money than the gunts are willing to pay :yams1:
Well that worked out well for everyone 😆

I didn't realise he'd gone at the end of the season but, surely something fishy going on here, he's moved again!

The winger made only 11 appearances during the second half of Hearts’ title-chasing campaign but wasn’t able to make an significant impact. His only goal came in a 1-0 victory over Falkirk in February. The Jambos ultimately fell short in their quest to win their first Scottish top flight since 1960, losing out to Celtic on the final day.

After a failed six month spell at Tynecastle, Chesnokov returned to Tobol on June 28 for an undisclosed six-figure fee. The Jambos issued a short 30-word social media post announcing his departure. It read: “Islam Chesnokov has left the club to join FC Tobol. He makes a permanent move back to Kazakhstan for an undisclosed fee. The club wishes Islam well for the future.”

Something fishy..... with the Gunts........... surely not!

Had a look at Kickback the other day, to see what they were saying about Hibs European game. Most of them were turning off once Hibs went two up. Scum.
However they are totally shitting themselves about facing Benfica. They are expecting an absolute hammering. For once I hope they are right.

For anyone interested in women's football - and I get that many aren't, so you can scroll on by if you like - I notice Eva Olid, who quit as the Gunts women's team manager after winning the league last season, has been appointed as the new manager of Man Utd's women's team.

Meanwhile, down at the Merrick Mansion, it looks like Vrancken’s coat is on a shoogly nail. Already he’s been branded as another Critchley…………………is he that bad ?.

Has anyone been able to wind up their jambo pals about last season and they’ve taken it well? I’ve done it a couple of times and it’s always ended in them storming off or taking a breather in the toilet. Incredible.
