What's everyone backing in this? I've placed small ew bets on Kitties Light, Panda Boy, and Mr Incredible. I was almost tempted to put something on I am Maximus but the 11st 5 it's carrying put me off.

Two I like, last years second Vanillier who left it too late but finished strong and an old favourite Delta Work, unlucky last year to unseat when going well.

The odd time I bet on the national it was always for the jockey whose colours were closest to a Hibs strip.

My pal in the pub said last years winner is a good shout. Then started talking another language as he mentioned a few more.

He's got 1/3,000th of a horse running on Saturday but not in the National - I suspect the other 2,999/3,000ths will be running as well, they normally do and it does well!

Does anyone on here have an interest in a racing nag?

My brother has a share in two horses. One of them is called Take Your Time [and it generally does]. I can't recall the name of the other one.

Last time I was in the bookies I heard a guy whispering a tip to his mate, but I couldn't find the horse in any race that day.
