I have never felt so low and unconfident about going into a semi ever! I have seen us hammered in semis and finals, but always I had a little bit of bope something might happen for us. But I just cant see anything coming our way this weekend. And if we lose, and particularly if we lose heavily, or lose by just showing very little then I will struggle to get motivated to attend more games this season as there would have to be a major turnaround.

Yes I know im no superfan and am finding my limits. All congratulations to anyone who attends all the games but I dont think I want to spend weekends feeling dejected.

I hope they prove my fears wrong and give me a reason to want to turn up at Easter road, but im at an age now where I want to enjoy more days than the ones where I feel deflated with life. I dont go for a pint much at games so there is not even much of a social scene there for me and I am more than often on my own. So come on Hibs, give me scope for enthusiasm on match days

Hopefully we can do it and make you proud.

I believe the players will give it their all

I watched the last ten minutes of the Puddle drinkers v sevco. I have to say, the puddle drinkers played with confidence and were unlucky not to see the game out for the win. I think their keeper was out of position and slow at the goal. It will be a hard game against them on Sunday. I think we can beat them though. I think we are working hard as a team more than we did and will press them into mistakes. The puddle drinkers are nothing special and if we can get the players and tactics right we can beat them. I do not anticipate we get hammered, there will be one goal in it. (unless we get one or more players sent off)

Hearts will be understandably be strong favourites.
However I believe Hibs can win this game.
It's a one off cup game at a neutral venue, and IMO Hearts are not anywhere near as strong away from Tynecastle.
It will require hard work, solid defending, and for once an ability to take a chance in or around the box.
Hearts have been hit hard by injuries, as have Hibs, but they have been playing in Europe as well.
It will be a difficult game for sure, but I think it will be a close game which could go either way.
Hearts have won all four of their Hampden games against Hibs, that run has to come to an end sometime.
Hibs have been dreadful this season so far, but it's time this team lifted their game and gave the loyal fans something to cheer.
Most neutrals will expect a Hearts win, however I think Hibs have a chance.

I think to have any chance MR has to tweak his formation. Chaiwa as the DM pivot is not working and is an accident waiting to happen. Newell has been very effective in an advanced role but I'd rather he took Chaiwas position. Our best performance this season was at Dundee with Chaiwa on the bench. Devaney was the pivot that day but Newell can do that job. We also had McGrath on the left and Boyle on the right with Lowe up front. Swap Lowe for Elding and see how that goes.

I'm hearing Lowe is back at stoke with a broken back and it's from a very good source!! And if that is the case why are the club keeping us in the dark about it 🤔

Obviously Herts are favourites on Sunday, which is pain enough. In terms of priorities, don't get hammered. I think we could win but will need luck on our side. Time's running out for Boyler which is a pity. Elding could be the man or possibly Kerr from a header?

Not being cheeky mate. I respect your posts. But you have quoted 3 things we have to do to win. The ability to do any of them means we are doomed
