Judith Durham of the Seekers died today. What a voice she had! And to think she gave up the Seekers because she thought she was not good looking enough to compete with others on the scene!

Sad news.
Judith was a great singer.....always had a smile on her face and looked like she was enjoying every moment of a song.
The Seekers recorded some lovely songs in the 60's especially.

Judith was amongst my earliest musical memories. What a beautiful voice. As a youngster "Morningtown ride" was my favourite Seekers song. RIP

The Carnival Is Over was used at my Aunty Mary's funeral.I was going to mention this to my mum but I doubt she would know who Judy Durham was.She would have known in the 70's.Anyway RIP Judy.
