I see that Pedro Pascal, star of The Last of Us has got upset about J K Rowling’s views on the gender debate and has joined in calls to boycott everything to do with Harry Potter. Apparently his sister or maybe his brother is transexual and can see why he might take issue with JK’s views.

But calling for her work to be boycotted is seriously fuckin mental.

Can’t he just argue with her stated views, but disassociate them from her work?
He really needs to get a grip. This sort of attitude is pathetic.

I enjoyed the first series of The Last of Us, and had started on Series 2 but fuck that, I won’t be watching any more.

The better be careful or they're going to lose the attention their industry - and one suspects, not a few individuals - depend on.

I see what you've done here and I understand why you did it.

I take issue with what you've done. I could argue it out with you but i don't want to because its much easier to just to boycott all your posts and stop sending you all those photos of my wife that you'd been asking for.
 
World gone mad. Rowling only stating what was seen as a fact until somebody decided it wasn't. Going to be a he'll of a lot of people falling out around the globe. Whatever happened to agreeing to disagree or is that just for old farts who aren't obsessed with clickbait on their phones. Tragic it's come to this.

What's interesting is that he and other woke bros try to deflect accusations of misogyny by saying how they are staunch defenders of women's rights to abortion and birth control; the two things that give men consequence-free access to women's bodies. The boring stuff; equal pay, single sex spaces etc? Not so much. Then it's back to bro's before ho's.

I think these transgender vigilantes might have a little more success if they tried to cancel something that wasn't so totally established and universally popular as Harry Potter.

Daniel Radcliffe is worth £100M almost all down to JK Rowling

Emma Watson £90M ditto

Rupert Grint £50M ditto

I guess what must gut them the most is how they prostituted themselves

It's woke central there.

Everyone on TV,all the adverts,it's completely woke.

Been there a few times,and i don't know what's happened to them there...but it's horrific.

I think that's one of the reasons JKR gets so much hatred. All these TRA bullies were probably big HP fans and she is now apostate. There's also a huge overlap between TRAs, autism, gaming and coding. These people have lived in a virtual world so long the think the human body is customisable like creating your character at the start of an RPG.

I read that the NHS is to assess every purportedly trans child for autism. This may well be another layer to this scandal; vulnerable kids who needed appropriate support for a condition they do have, instead delivered into the hands of oddjobs to experiment on.

That was one of the findings of the Tavistock investigation. Large numbers of the kids were on the spectrum, were same sex attracted or had some sort of co-morbidity. Iirc around 10% had a parent who was a convicted sex offender, far higher than the general population. It's all covered in Hannah Barnes' Time to Think. Lots of damaged children being fed into the gender abattoir. Absolutely scandalous.

Pascal's brother is now apparently his sister so that explains his hostility towards JKR. I saw Pedro Pascal recently described as a Temu Burt Reynolds. 😆
