Sorry admins I've put this on the GHC Page by mistake can you please move accordingly

Hi Guys

First of all I hope you dont mind me putting this on here.

I have recently started writing a blog for a Scottish Football website mostly about my own club, Hibernian but Id like to do a piece on mental health issues related to the game. Its a serious and very scary illness to suffer from and every day is a personal battle but I believe football can be not only a comfort but also a mechanism of help.

I have written to all 42 Scottish Professional Football League Clubs in the hope that I can receive some feedback and prepare a written article to show my findings relating to what the clubs do to support people who suffer. Many clubs have a vested interest in their local communities now through community trusts and the like. Using the information I have received I will try to enhance the readers understanding of what is a very debilitating illness.

I have also composed a short survey (see below) to try and gauge peoples honest opinions of whether they have suffered, know a sufferer, understand the illnesses and if they are aware of the work their football clubs do in and around their communities if anything at all.

Its a subject that is very close to my heart and I dont think it gets enough attention. I want to make sure that I get enough informaton and give the article my full attention in order to get the point across in a clear an considerate manner.

There is a lot of stigma attached to these illnesses which mean even our idols, sport stars, film stars etc, struggle in silence before it all gets too much. I will use this information and my own personal experiences to try and show how football and I guess every sport, especially professionally played sports can help sufferers like myself to not only get better but to help top remove the stigma around such illnesses, especially amongst men my age.

I thank you all for your time and if you could spare a minute or two to fill out the above survey it would be very much appreciated.

Kind Regards
Andy

Might be an idea to ask Leeann Dempster as Motherwell have had the Breathing Space logo on the back of their shirt for a couple of seasons now I think. Might be able to point you in the direction of others there who can help?
Great effort and best of luck with it. I'll complete the survey later. Morris

I tried accessing the page but got this;

Server not found

Firefox can't find the server at https.

Check the address for typing errors such as ww.example.com instead of Example Domain
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Is it me or is the link not working :dunno:
