Don't really watch it, but heard it in the background while I was on computer. It appears to be like a pantomime for adults. Whenever any judge says the least thing bad about a dance, the audience start booing. Do they actually want fair comment or just a Panto baddie they can boo? People need to stop being so afraid of criticism..though I suppose it is just TV and a Panto

The dancing is very good for amateurs, but that is the annoying side of the show. It's usually aimed at Craig Greville Horwood who has cast himself as the mean judge. He's saying what he sees but if all 4 were as critical, it would be a turn off for most viewers who aren't ballroom dancers.
There are booers at the fitba, no difference. Do yourself a favour, watch it on i-player and admire the Rumba and the Naturalist guy who does the African style dance and watch through your fingers at Tony Adams. You might actually enjoy yourself.

perhaps. I am not against it totally and used to be friends with a pro-ballroom dancer. I suppose the whole panto villian is just being played up, a bit like Rayan69

As a fan of dancing and dance,I find it light relief from the trials that is being a supporter of Hibs.

I enjoy Strictly.
As someone who have never been able to dance I like watching good dancers and enjoy watching the novices getting better each week.
It is not meant to be taken too seriously though. Craig Reville Horwood gives out criticism when it is deserved, but praises when it is warranted. He is trying to make them better. The guy knows what he is talking about btw as he is one of the top choreographers in the world.
Just enjoy it for harmless Saturday night frivolities.

Me and the missus watch it over here and love it. It's part of our Saturday night tradition. No gonnae lie moaty didn't see the point in same sex pairings, felt it was ticking a box - but John and Johannes last year changed all that for us. Yes it was 2 men, but who cares? It was 2 people dancing. They should've won. You ain't beating a deaf chick though!

Thought Fluer was immense tonight, as was Hamza. You can see what it means to him

I actually think the Blue Peter lady is a better dancer and the judges will aknowledge that in a win.
