It's been sunny but strangely cold of late, which brings us nicely to Ibrox on a Wednesday night - if there's a colder more soul less place in Scottish football then I've yet to visit. The stickies are on a bit of a low, blown the league challenge and failed to blow Celtcs. They are confirmed third in the league without the champions league and are ambling towards the end of the season. I expect a crowd of 50,000 at Ibrox, but suspect the turnstile clickers will have an easy night.

Whereas, we have a lot to play for. Two wins would round the season off on a high.

Rangers are good side, and in truth I think, just fell short on the ground needed to be made up after the shambolic Russell Martin reign. It may be that Danny Rohl pays the price for that, I hope so, he's likely to have them a force again next season.

We've bounced back with a superb performance on Saturday with the much maligned Josh Campbell playing a key role. I think there's always a place for him in the squad, and he maybe could have figured more this season.

We need to better Motherwell's result to go into the last game of the season with 4th attainable. Saturday will then be a must win.

The team well I think it would be hard not to go in unchanged from the weekend, that may well have been our best first half performance of the season.

I suspect there might be a change or two, and maybe a gameplay tweak or two.

I really should know better by now, but I'm quite looking forward to tomorrow.

What do you all think?
Hibernian Forever

Could be a strange game. As you say we are still in the running for 4th off the back of a nice win we should be putting everything into these last 2 games.
The huns on the other hand have reached as far as they can go and cannot be moved from 3rd. They are off the back of a bad loss against their bitter rivals.
With nothing really to play for and the world cup not long away maybe the players will not be exactly up for this although Rhol will be wanting 2 victories to end the season.
Who knows but we even in normal circumstances should be able to win as they aren't the rangers of old.

We'll never have a better chance of beating the Huns, for a while. Can't see them doing us any favours mind you, end of season or not.

Be great to consign them to further obscurity, its wonderful watching them turn on their own. Agree with Connerg…………. There for the taking.

Midfield need to get better quality passes to Elding and Boyle, both can cause the Huns lots of problems but not if they are chasing stray passes or ones that are not even passes just launched in their general direction.

Play controlled football, open them up, put it in the net first and those scumbags will down tools.

How many times have we thought this, yet never seem to take our chance. I’m not confident, but what else is new?

If we can get an early goal the morra night that shitehole will explode. Expect us to win comfortably the morra and Sunday.

Edit*

Saturday.

Hibs have something to play for, sevco don't. Their player's won't be giving 100%, plus the atmosphere will be dour.
That suits us. However, you're right about Hibs not taking our chances in the past.

Hopefully the boys right a few wrongs tomorrow night and give the fans something to cheer about after this shit show of a season. They certainly owe us that mate.

My first visit to the Hunnery since April 95 when Hibs actually played there 3 times in about 10 days .
Played SC semi there v Celtic and it went to replay( Hampden being ‘renovated ‘ iirc )
We then lost 3-1 to the old Huns at weekend but Mikey O’Neill scored an absolute screamer
Looking forward to tonight .
Hope we can have their fans in a rage early on

An early Hibs goal will certainly do that. They're still fragile after Sunday. hope Gray goes for the jugular from the start.

I can see Boyle causing them problems tonight. Then Mulligan in the second half.
I hope Campbell scores too, not sure if the huns can deal with his energy.
