I picked up his autobiography once, I think it was in Durham, as I spent a half hour in a bookshop.

No mentions of Heart of Midlothian, but he did talk about Crystal Palace as "his" team.

At first glance I actually thought it WAS a pic of the two Ronnies.

Corbett was an ex-Royal High School chap. In them days it was compulsory to wear short trousers to school, and thus enable most of the teenage population of Edinburgh to beat you up in the street..
It's obviously scarred the wee bugger for life.
How much of a challenge must it have been to find suit trousers 'too short' for that shortarse.
