Best season Scottish football has had since before I can remember.
The quality may not have been as good for Hibs and other teams but it has been one of the most competitive.
The points gaps between 2nd-10th only began to widen near the split.

And, of course, Celtc were the winners after today's game.
Cue - 'never in doubt' comments which I've read from a couple of match reports already.

It'll be their lowest points tally for 3 years(+ if they don't win every one of the remaining games).
They were always going to win the title, otherwise it would've been an absolute disaster for them.
They didn't storm it in the manner that was expected and some unexpected league finishes have also happened.

Oddly enough, I think the sides looking to play faster, attacking football have deservedly finished in the top six.
I'm looking forward to next season if a similar season is what we have to look forward to.

I've enjoyed it overall, there's been some awful football and a poor end to our season.

However, I'm referring to the SPL season as a whole and not just our own season.
We've had some great moments too and seen some fantastic goals.

We were top of the league for a fair bit and 2nd place for a large part of the season.
The gap only opened up near the split and we we should've been in the top six if we weren't robbed 4 points.

I too share your sentiments, it has made for a exciting league this year, if only we had managed to keep up our early form we could've finished top 4.

IF hearts hudnae scored 5 we would have won the cup

Agree with you completely, but don't think we should look back and blame those 4 points as the reason we're in the bottom 6, there's alot of points we've thrown away and had those 4 points happened in the first part of the season instead of at this end, we would've forgot all about them and would hardly have mentioned them.

Doesn't change the fact that we have suffered because of them, just don't think they should be blamed if you get me? :dunno:

I didn't intend to place on the 4 points we could've had.

The season has been great as a whole, for me. I renewed my season ticket despite having no clear way of being able to go to games next season without being skint. It's not about what ifs as I still think our season was good.
Like I said before, I'm referring to how great the season has been for Scottish football and the SPL as a whole from a competitive aspect.

Yes, very little to choose between 10 of the teams, but I can't agree that it has been that exciting or memorable when both the title and the relegation issue are as good as wrapped up so early. A play-off would've made all the difference with respect to the latter.
