Slavery in the UK

We seem to get a new fact a day on this left wing commune story and a new headline along with it. It seems so news managed. I wonder why this is. Are the police drip feeding the story to the papers for some reason. Originally it was a big slavery story with hints of similar US stories now it seems like a rather sad and sorry left wing personality cult, the rump of something from the 1970s. However, the story came to light in October. Ever felt the whole thing is being manipulated? But to what end?

It seemed to me that there was a bit of an effort to avoid explaining the identity of the slavers, presumably due to the usual doctrinaire pc reasons. I confess I expected this would be because they were gypsys or something rather than lefties, although that fits with my suspicions even better. In a related note, the recent Paris shootings are another reminder of the mentalist leftism of the past - this has also seemed to slip from centre stage as things became clearer. Mind you that might just be a France thing - after all some of the biggest and most sustained protests in European history, met with state brutality and oppression remarkable by western standards, were barely mentioned at all, earlier this year.

I would hope the main reason would be to protect the victims with other things, like preserving the crime scene coming after that.

In the past there were stories kicking about that never made the media around what I suppose IS slavery but was passed off as Africans, Arabs, Chinese, maybe others but I can't remember having people working for them, being abused mentally and physically, not paying them, withholding passports and stuff like that. But that was the way they treated the same folk in their own countries.

I really don't care. So long as the victims are now being looked after and the bastards having the full force of the law set against them thats OK by me.

The media frenzy that surrounds things like this is sickening, turning real human tragedy into some sort of sideshow to sell newspapers and fill a few minutes on TV.

I'd be a lot happier just getting reports from the law courts - at least that would be factual rather than the endless conjecture.
