Apologies if mentioned already elsewhere but the proposal to create sin bins in football can absolutely get in the sea.
 
Do you mean football in general or in Scotland? I'm all in favour as fouls leading to yellow cards are now part of the game and only leads to rotational fouling. 10 minutes in the sin bin would go a long way to stamping this out UNLESS we're talking about Scotland where it would just be another tool in the refs armoury to favour Rantic.
What a depressing thought. Our game in Scotland is truly fucked.

Imagine even more, apart from the uglies, other teams will play the game with less than 11 on the pitch. Another mechanism to justify their corruption.

Not just Scotland although more fecked here than elsewhere. I’m toying with swapping over to curling, no VAR there, just a measuring tape 👍
 
I think it works really well in International Rugby, especially on those "Orange" Cards, perpetrator is off while they get a proper review and the game doesn't stop.

I think it should cut down on these 5 minute VAR reviews and keep the game flowing as you might be bit miffed at a ref getting it wrong on a sending off but if you lose a player for ten minutes instead of the rest of the game, I think that's probably going to be progress.

Except when it doesn't - was it Finn Russell who got sent off in the World cup for a bad tackle that wasn't.

And if the powers that be think they can do this, the next thing they will try will be dividing the game into quarters so they can have more advert breaks. Just see if they don't.

Seriously 😩 so the teams play to the left then the right then the left then the right, ludicrous and will never happen . The NFL is a stop start game wihich accomodates this . Will absolutely never happen in association football . Notice I didn’t say soccer 🤪

Was the 4 quarter stuff maybe not for the Qatari world cup? Allowance for the temperature?
(Real reason advertising)

Football, game of 2 halves.. played over 4 quarters.

Extra time would make it a game of 6 periods 😳

Why are they trying to kill the game.. no wanna be the most popular sport anymore?
