Has just won the Gen Sec vote for the Unite Union. Brilliant! We were told by some she would split the left vote and usher in the Blairite. Bollocks! A well fought campaign with popular policies she attracted people who thought Beckett was too soft on Labour. So well done. Her membership will now hold her to her promises. Not every day I get the person I voted for; so pleased tonight.

Last week you told us incorrectly that Mandelson was Labour Party leader at some point. Don't let facts stand in the way of a good story mate.

Now you proclaim, wrongly that Beckett was too soft on Labour so folk were attracted to Sharon Graham.

Beckett was in fact the most critical of Starmer of the 3 left candidates over Starmers stewardship and moves to the right. He was suspended from the Party by Starmer and his aperachniks for his troubles.

He stood aside in the Unite election to prevent a split vote on the left.

While you say that you voted, surely you must have noticed that Becketts name was not even on the ballot paper?

I suspect you are confusing Beckett with.

good for her. Did great work round here on the Go North West strike earlier in the year.

Only choice really though, because never ever ever to a McCluskey continuity candidate and Coyne can piss off anaw.
