Do you think if the bigots condemned it years ago and had zero tolerance to it and truthfully were not bigot clubs....these neanderthalls would have died out?
Regardless of where they come from, the whole lot of it is centred around their clubs....in saying that though....the Gunts are getting more and more bigoted by the day...i suspect they just jump on bandwagons though, cos they haven't a brain cell to share between them
 
The old firm are a manifestation of it yes! but sectarianism is alive and well in Scottish society out with football. In fact I would go as far as to say at least with the OF it is visible and undisguised, in other aspects of Scottish life it is more subtle but nevertheless still very much there.

I can't recall encountering a non of related instance in the last 20 years. Where so you detect it elsewhere ?

I don't count the wee knobs of section n - a cursory glance at sickfuck shows that even gunts have no time for the wee pricks - that's just wee knobs being wee knobs, its not rooted in any coherent ideas.

It's now like the Scottish version of the race relations industry and also used by crabbit atheists as a prop in their campaign against religious schools. Scotland has a plenty problems with prejudice but Scottish v Irish racism aka sectarianism is an OF problem

I personally experienced an appalling and sustained tirade from two degree educated professionals at a meeting at work. I won't go into detail but given the type of work I do, I was shocked and frankly ashamed to be part of the same working team.
 
Were they dobbers or Dawkins sorts? There's certainly plenty of the latter but that's not generally thought of as sectarian though perhaps it ought to be
 
Arguably Dawkins sorts without the study or analysis required to be credited with the tag. Neither support football teams and both were female.

Study or analysis is in fact inimical to the tag. Anyway if that is sectarianism then I would agree the country and especially the state bureaucracy is alive with it (oh and the cowshed) Hardly a Scottish phenomena though - although as someone once noted (Chesterton maybe) British Protestant anti Popery segued effortlessly into whiggish / atheist anti Popery.
