Much the same as Killie on Friday. Ayr early lead and Falkirk came back into it.
 
Lowe league team in the final.
I always cringe when I hear people saying "getting to a cup final" is success for Hibs.
Cup football success is 90% good luck.
Winning a cup is success.
All the best to ICT and Falkirk. A good day out for either side.

Agree.
Getting to a cup final is a good day out.
Winning it is a success in regards to Hibs anyway

ICT and Falkirk are both in financial dire straits so this is a massive good news story.
I'm pleased for both of them.

Whenever I think Falkirk, I think of Alex Totten, a bitter wee ringpiece with a huge chip on his shoulder.

I'll never forget that day at Brockville in the pissing rain when Sauzée (& Marinkov) made their debuts and Hibs effectively ended Falkirk's chances of catching us. I was sooooooo happy!
 
I get the opinions about both fawkirk and inverness and agree to some extent but would still rather one of them, while extremely unlikely, won the cup ahead of the two uglies, the rangers definitely, celtic, no quite so much 🤔

Depends if we reckon we'll get 3rd or not. If we do then if one of the bigot bros win the cup we'd be guaranteed group stage conference league. If the gunts get 3rd then it's Falkirk or Inverness all the way for me.

If Hearts beat Aberdeen on Saturday and we as expected get horsed by Cellik they are all but nailed on for 3rd.
8 points ahead and a far better goal difference being worth a 9th point with 9 games to play.
I'm hoping Aberdeen can get a draw and keep us in with a good chance.
 
Does the SC final still give a Europa League qualifier to a team not in Europe already with their league position?

I think realistically Hibs are looking at Conference but brilliant if we can get beyond that. We always buckle against the uglies and that manky lot across the city even if we've played better. Mind you they are known for Heartsing it just like 1986 🤪 .

Or we beat celtic and sheep beat gunts and we’ll be 2 pts behind, negativity does feck all for anyone 😩🤣

Only for the winner. It flips to the league if a champs league qualifier wins the cup
