Catcher in the Rye. My MOTM.
Clever, Moaty. He had an outstanding game.Catcher in the Rye. My MOTM.
And yet I'm arguing with a hibs fan on Facebook who reckons he was shit because he palmed away some of the shots the bold lad thought he should have caught.Catcher in the Rye. My MOTM.
If he caught them all then Chermitis knee might still be okAnd yet I'm arguing with a hibs fan on Facebook who reckons he was shit because he palmed away some of the shots the bold lad thought he should have caught.
Maybe he's been watching videos of some of Rocky's saves. And yet I'm arguing with a hibs fan on Facebook who reckons he was shit because he palmed away some of the shots the bold lad thought he should have caught.
Shame that......... injured after a £20M bid rejected.....If he caught them all then Chermitis knee might still be ok![]()

All that punching is just modern goalie style, the 'strong hands' I get sick of hearing about on tv commentaries.I actually agree - there was a few he should have caught which put us under more pressure than we needed. He had a good game though that aside.

Some @Hammi type must have read the game stats and started this trend from recorded observations of 'shots repelled wi no goal as a result' versus 'shots that goalie tried to catch and goal as a result' comparisons.
I say game the system and give each goalie 2 big plaster stookies like for broken wrists so they can twat every shot repelled 50 yards upfield and start a new attack!
You missed my wee edit!Big excessive even for me. Long as they stay out the goals I don't care how![]()
As long as they're not pushed back into danger areas though eh?Big excessive even for me. Long as they stay out the goals I don't care how![]()
The thing is though, when he parried the ball it was to the side and away from danger whereas if he had tried to catch the ball and fumbled it we'd have been in more trouble. It's largely academic though, his job is to keep the ball from crossing the line and he did that with the exception of the own goal.I actually agree - there was a few he should have caught which put us under more pressure than we needed. He had a good game though that aside.

Great save from the Thistle free kick, the boy absolutely leathered it. He had another good stop near the end too I think. He's a fine keeper.Very good game.
Hes a very good Goalkeeper.
Was he not called iceman at his last club?
If im wrong....I do apologise to the hyenas.
As long as he pushing them out towards the sidelines then im fine with that. If your pushing it out where attackers can thump it into the net thats poor keeping. Out to the side then the defence can reset. SimplesBig excessive even for me. Long as they stay out the goals I don't care how![]()
It is.Excellent goalkeeper. His distribution is superb.

I've never tried to imagine how Tom Daley goes down.... Until now. Thanks. It is.
He pulls off some remarkable saves too, actually looking clumsy as he dives/falls at the ball - but he's making the save so not bothered that he's not looking like Tom Daley in how he's going down.
Quiet at the back there.
