A comedy legend, though probably most famous for a 'straight' role in Willy Wonka. Blazing Saddles, The Producers, Young Frankenstein & all his films with Richard Pryor; some collection.

I've spent the last 45 minutes chuckling my way through clips of his movies on YouTube since I heard the news of his death. Some brilliant stuff there that I hadn't seen in years.
He'll be sorely missed.

Sad news. A hugely talented and very funny man who has entertained all ages for many years. I thought he was great in Blazing Saddles which remains for me one of the funniest movies ever.

RIP Gene

Had the privilege of meeting him at 'An Interview & A Movie' in Atlanta.
They screened Young Frankenstein and he sat and chatted for about an hour afterwards.
Very funny and intelligent guy.
More important, he seemed like a good guy.

RIP
