Prom Bar (Newhaven)

Alright folks,

Thought I’d introduce ourselves on here. We’re the Prom Bar down at Anchorfield, Newhaven, a proper traditional pub, no gimmicks, just good pints, friendly faces and the football on all the screens.

We’re Hibs-friendly and would love to get more Hibees in. Whether it’s for a few pints before/after the game, or somewhere to watch the match if you’re not heading to it, you’re more than welcome. No daft prices – just a relaxed pub with the fitba on and a decent pint (£3.90 for a Tennents ain’t bad, eh!)

What we’re offering:

• Sky Sports and TNT games on live
• Decent pints, good chat, dogs welcome
• Open from 12 every day
• Can sort early doors for lunchtime kick-offs

We were also thinking, if there’s interest, we could be a pick-up point for away buses. Times are flexible, happy to work around supporters’ clubs if folk fancy using us as a meeting / collection spot. Plenty space outside for coaches or mini-buses to swing in.

So aye – if you’re passing, or fancy somewhere new for a pre match pint come say hi. Let us know if you want to arrange having us as a collection point for the away days.

It'll changed since the early 80's I suppose. Good wee boozer. Used to going at dinner time when I worked in Robb's for a pie and brown sauce and a sweet black and tan.
Those were the days .
