For third place!! Potentially...

If Chelsea draw and Arsenal win by 1 goal, scoring 2 more than Chelsea.

Example,

Chelsea draw 0-0
Arsenal win 2-1

Means both teams would have the same points, same goal difference and goals scored.

The play off is confirmed as one of the rules, and it's not been decided if it would be a 2 legged match or a neutral venue.

Dunno what their games against each other are but by the looks of it, it doesn't matter in the EPL. Kinda exciting..

What's the chances of it being rigged so that it's a money spinning extravaganza?

It would be at a neutral venue. Olympic Stadium perhaps?

They've not said what they'll decide on, said it could be either on Sky Sports earlier :dunno:
Is the Olympic Stadium fit for football just now? Isn't there athletics championships and such like still to be played there before football can move in?

Yes they have, it's in the Premier League rules that it would be played at a neutral venue, check the BBC site.
I honestly don't know about the Olympic Stadium, It was a stab in the dark. White Hart Lane and The Boleyn Ground aren't big enough and Wembley is surely too big. It would be a weird decision not to play it in London.
It probably won't come to pass anyway.

Is it? I'm only watching Sky, they were saying it's not clear if it would be either :dunno:
I thought it would be Wembley myself, just because they love a day at Wembley, reduce the ticket prices and they would be able to get a decent number in there no problem, who doesn't love a day at the national stadium.

"It would be played at a neutral ground on a date and venue to be determined," added a Premier League spokesman.

In other news Loic Remy has been lifted on a charge of rape!

Not at the time when I wrote this though, it's off now..

They could always play it at Hackney Marshes with no fans allowed and Sky could put it on pay per view at a time that suits their schedules.

We're heading that way.

The@rse and chelski will both win their games anyway.
