Trips on a perfectly normal kerb whilst responding to a 999 call at a petrol station ( Sky News just showed the kerb out side the door of the petrol station shop)..
She's suing the petrol station for not ensuring that she wouldn't get hurt on their premises ( or words to that effect)
Some place in Norfolk from memory :)

Yep i saw it, feckin disgusting.
How she thinks she can win is mental, there would have to be health and safety warnings on every single pavement countrywide. If she is at danger where kerbs are situated she should be a recluse....
Even her boss was embarrassed by her actions.
She is probably shit at her job and going nowhere, she certainly is now, and this her way of making her money.

What a fuckin chancer.

I think the cops should be able to charge her with bringing the force into disrepute.

I thought it was the guy she was suing?

The report I read had been speaking to the guy, and he said that when she tripped she got up and seemed more embarrassed than anything else, then 3 months down the line without hearing anything since, gets a letter saying she's taking him to court over damaged legs and wrists or somesuchshit, blaming the lighting, around 4am with streetlights and garage lights on.

IF she somehow gets away with this... Does that mean that every single time an police officer gets hurt/injured/trips/sneezes they'll be able to claim off of people. I thought the job came with risks, I don't think she has a chance tbh.

At the risk of being flippant female embarrassment at falling is a dangerous thing - I've seen more than one hapless soul get walloped when some embarrassed slapper has claimed she's been pushed

I've seen that too!
Definitely pushed, nothing to do with your stupid shoes and binge drinking.

The story was from 30th/31st. It is true, bizarrely.

Some people have odd reactions to embarrassment if that is indeed what is going on here although if it was a nasty fall then you can do some damage from a fall onto concrete when running (if this is the case - the injuries don't seem significant though)
