There hasn,t been a decent plumbing thread on here for yonks. So, the Tigress has decided that we should renovate the bathroom in the new year. Its like that in Tiger Towers, she decides all the wee stuff. Like where we go on holiday, where we get the mortgage, when we decorate etc. Whereas me being the man of the house, makes the big decisions. Should the Bank of England lower the interest rate, should we pull the troops out of Afghanistan.
Anyhoo the water pressure in the shower is abysmal. How does one increase it? Power shower, pump :dunno:
All suggestions gratefully received

There's running water in Tranent now or have you moved ?

Yes very droll chaps :pullhair: Its no boosting my water pressure though :pullhair::pullhair::pullhair:

I was going to leave it for yer local water engineers to get to you, but due to their lack of enthusiasm i will [try] assist.
If it is simply to boost the water pressure to your shower, then a power shower or a pumped shower is what you need[depending on the system]
If you want to boost the cold water pressure in the whole house then there are plenty of pumps on the market.
All pretty expensive.

I haven't fitted a pumped shower in a long time, but if you look at anything manufactured by Mira, then it is usually more than adequate, but there are dozens to choose from.

Good luck.
