Pleb-gate

If he has apologised for things he hasn't said in the first place, then it dosent exactly make him look like a man of substance does it.?

I'd believe the police before the Sun
I'd believe Vlad before The Sun :rollfloor

He apologised for "what he said" he didn't apologise for saying "you f-ing plebs" which is what the press were reporting he had said. Should have come out and said he didn't say what they were claiming but it is a bit of a puzzle as to why they (and who are they) have tried (and succeeded) in pretty much ending this particular guy's place in government.

Er ... That's channel 4.

The police have arrested one of their own officers.

Always thought there was something not not quite hanging together in this story. It was another case of the dog that didn't bark in the night. There were members of the public there, according to the police account, but none of them came forward and none of them contacted the papers. Hmmmmm. :hmmm

Andrew Mitchell loses legal battle against the currant bun.

3,000,000 legal bill :giggle:

Although there was no third party to witness it the judge says Mitchell was too angry at the time to think, or recall what was said AND the policeman was too feckin stupid to make it up!

*** Weighing up the competing claims, the judge said PC Rowland was "not the sort of man who would have had the wit, imagination or inclination to invent on the spur of the moment an account of what a senior politician had said to him in temper". ***

I can see that being overturned on appeal now. The Sun may have to cough up instead. Which would be nice.

This is rather interesting to me because we can see the government flexing their muscles and the polis having to comply.

So, it's not going to be like The Thatch and the South Yorks massive.

I can see this going pear shaped for all the evil paedo ****s in positions of power now that the polis know they don't have their back.

Conspiracy theory away!
