Not blaming them for our defeats, however they do seem to play a part in injuries. El Alagoui at Alloa, then 2 rangers players also crocked after their 1-1 draw same place. Also saw our new forward seem to take a fall in the first half at QOS. Whats peoples opinion on this.

Was going to post this thread myself. Anyone that has played on the current 4g stuff will know how bad it is.

The ball sticks in your feet, takes horrible high bounces, you feel like your running on velcro.

We can't do anything about it, however on the run up to playing a team with a plastic pitch, we should be training one one all week as it's night and day compared to grass and any team that plays on one regularly has an advantage without a doubt.

Alloas pitch was the worst i have seen, very strange bounce of the ball, seemed t really affect us

I posted before that I hated playing on artificial pitches. It's inhibiting and the first time you go to ground you know about it which makes you shy next time.

Edit: Of course playing on a baked grass surface can be worse - like falling on concrete but proper pitches get watered.
