Sad news this morning that Patrick Swayze has lost his fight with cancer..

I really liked the guy as an actor, and Ghost was a fantastic film IMO.

I remember my sister was obsessed with Dirty Dancing when it came out, and went to see it loads of times as well as getting the DVD. The ultimate chick flick.

RIP Patrick.

Aye , I remember going to see Ghost at the Allanpark cinema, and half the folk were greeting. Now the boys finding out whether it's true or not...

Whether it's the welcoming bright lights or being dragged into the underworld you mean?

It's been a year of many well known people dieing. Ledger, Jackson and now Swayze.

Ghost was a class film. Such a tearjerking movie....:giggle:

I'm often surprised the great Jerry Zucker didn't get more serious movies after this one (which got him an oscar nomination). He was quickly back with his equally mad brother and Jim Abrahams to carry on their "Airplane" "Naked gun" and "Hot shots" lunacy (as well as Kentucky fried movie!)..

Cos hes a complete arsehole imo, him and George could get the poofs cure and die:lookaround:

Aye a 21 year old firing into a 15 year old is fine:red:

If we're going to kill off arseholes then they'll not be many left.

Why anyone would wish death on someone else such as Elton feckin John confuses and baffles me.

Theres no point in wishing death on anyone, it comes to us all. However, since i am powerless to prevent the next celeb death and ensuing public lamentation, im hoping its Elton that the good lord takes into his arms rather than someone entertaining like Jimmy Crankie or Kerry Katona.

I once came off a motorbike and as it dragged me along the road and under the wheels of a taxi, the sound of saturday night's alright for fighting came over my radio. I prayed Elton John wouldnt be the last voice i'd hear on this planet and now suffer a sense of impending doom whenever i hear the fat bawsack's nasal whines

His funniest moment imo.

Negative.Swayze was feckin rubbish at the old acting lark imo, but Point Break is about surfing, skydiving, fighting keanu reeves and robbing banks so for me it's a winner.

Shame he's dead though, never nice.

Does anyone else think it too soon to ask whoopy goldberg if she has heard from patrick swayze yet? lol.:077:

Sadly the loopy old bint has already said that she "believed" in the message of that daft tear jerker and therefore the deceased dancer was already with her.

:coffee:

Sad, I know, but I always fancied making Whoopy.:lookaround:

I imagine quite a few blokes have "came off" whilst hearing Eltons voice (from behind them most likely)

Just for you mate...

The Swayze faimily suffered a further blow with the death of Keith Floyd.

He was doing the catering for the funeral

Just remember.

It may now be legal

Fingers crossed it's Elton John's turn next

Theres no point in wishing death on anyone, it comes to us all.

Is that no a contradiction in terms, one minute crossin your fingers that its elton, then no point in wishin someone dead then hopin its elton again. What's the point. The original post is about Patrick Swayze who has died from pancreatic cancer which is very sad and if you have ever experienced that within your family you would not be spoutin shite about elton john or, whoever regardless, what has he got to do with patrick swayze.

Goin by your post it would be quite temptin to say you obviously wereny dragged far enuff but ken wot am not like that.

Does that not make you realise how lucky you are to be alive then. :102:

Can't help but get the feeling you are very bitter about things:coffee: Not sure why though??

I thought we'd signed Elton

??

It wasnt a matter of distance, it was a matter of positioning. Had I been dragged along on front rather than my back am sure the radio wouldve gotten mashed up and i wouldnt have found myself praying that my ears got scraped off:read:
