Patrick Stewart

One of the few tv shows I watch is Star Trek. All of them. Patrick Stewart’s Captain Jean-Luc Picard was everything you expect a starship captain to be such was his screen presence.
Outside of acting he was an advocate for gay rights, animal rights and stood firmly against domestic abuse having witnessed it firsthand. The human being that we should all aspire to be.
RIP Pat

A great man RIP

Ah that's a shame. Great actor and pretty diverse too.

A really great, underrated, villain performance from him that stuck with me was in the thriller Green Room where he played the leader of neo-nazi gang perusing a group of teenagers of who witness a murder in his backwoods clubhouse. Ice cold, subtle and genuinely chilling.

Forgot about that one! Decent film I found flicking about Sky one night

I just watched it. Patrick Stewart aside, I though it was terrible. :102:
