Watson has always been shite. I've banged on about this before [a few year ago mind you]. If you close your eyes and listen then you should really be able to guess who he is mimicking but I bet most times you cannot. It doesnt matter if you can anyway because he is such a shit mimick that he often has to remark upon who he is just so you can get it.

Fukking rubbish.

I'm amazed the BBC still funds a show which is based upon the sex life of a footballer who retired 20 years ago.
 
classless,although fergie's hair dyer on mug of tea made me laugh.no wonder the rest of the uk look upon us scots drunken bam pots who need subtitles to be understood.
 
watched first 5 mins..the huns at a 3rd div ground was slightly humorous, but the show has been rank for years. I had one thought that with all the glory hunting, there seems to be few characters around, such as roughie, chic charnlie, Budgie etc and that is why they continue to regurgitate the tired Frank McAvenie/Chic im really a rangers supporter routines. But then I thought, maybe there is characters around, but TV is just too lazy and uninterested to pick up on stories outside the OF unless it involves GOC and snow, or DR and his nightclub activities. I thought a good sketch would involve some ritualistic pinning dolls of Rudi :077:
 
Tedious pish well past its sell by date... which sums up most if not all Scottish Hogmanay TV programming.

You would think that even its target audience the Daily Retard readership and Billy fi Larkhall/ Pat fi Coatbridge would be getting tired of it....but unfortunately they probably still think its "rer banter" so no doubt this particular dead horse will be getting flogged for quite a few more years.
 
despite all that has been posted, I watched it on i-player and yes what a load of tosh, completely unfunny and irrelivant, poor punchlines and even poorer impersonations. I suppose the silver lining is just how much Scotland has moved on since it seems to be universally panned and the OF 'banter' is treated as a side show since the Zombies took up their place in div III.
 
Despite the abysmal impersonation, i thought the Levein sketch was quite funny. That apart, it was unamusing garbage played for the weege and its bigots. Despite the comedy gold spewing out of Hunbrox since February there was, maybe unsurprisingly, little made of it in the show. He spent more of our license money ripping the pish out of Lennon rather than Green, Murray, Whyte and the rest....
