Looking at some of those photos I can see their point. They seem to have tram tracks running straight up the middle of designated cycle lanes???

Stranger things have been known to happen, but I would still be very surprised if the cyclists won their cases. I can't even see what they are building their cases on. Negligence? State of the tracks? Poor signage? Poor visibility? Inadeqaute warning? None of these apply.

They should claim that the accidents were caused through their being distracted by the over the top proliferation of tram signage. They might be on to something there.
