Hi,
do you support other nonscotland teams?
if yes do you also attend stadium or only watch results on TV?
I support Liverpool FC and Fiorentina.
I go usually twice per year at Anfield.
I went to Franchi( Florence stadium) when I was young( Actually it was my first team). I bought season ticket for 4years.
After 2003 for a couple of reason I've stopped to go to any italian stadium so I nowadays I just watch results and if it is good I'm happy.

Manchester United & Athletico Madrid.

I'm looking for a foreign team to support, thinking the German or Dutch league is a good option:hmmm

Dont want to support one of the big clubs but one I can kind of relate to being a Hibby, but not as depressing as being a Hibby.

I need to do some digging.

My local club - Deportivo La Corua. There are other teams I like or dislike, but supporting a club when you live hundreds or thousands of miles away from the ground, with little chance of ever seeing them, makes no sense to me.

St Patricks Athletic - I actively support them.

Look out for the results of these teams though..
Olympique Marseille
Rayo Vallecano
Philadelphia Union
Napoli
Union Berlin

Pretty sure there are decent amount of FC Groningen fans on here, they play in green and white too!

support newcastle united and been to quite a few games down there
started supporting lincoln city since i'm at uni there and Lunds BK since they have same name as my surname!

Moved to Breda a few days ago so might have a look out for De Graaf's old club. However, I've never understood Hibs fans who can get so worked up about another team and refer to them as "we" without some strong family connection. It just comes across as rather sad.

Same here think its quite odd, My mother's side is English (Newcastle) and I was brought up here for most of my life so I think I can shout about Newcastle but I still don't, I enjoy supporting them in games but wouldn't refer to myself as a 'Magpie' 'Geordie' or part of the 'Toon Army' or whatever the collective is!

I have liked AS Roma for as long as I can remember after getting a snide Roma shirt with Totti #10 on the back and mainly because he must be my favourite player.

does spellin really matter . honestly . amnyway man utd for me and toulouse cos o ma wee frog mate . hope ma spellin is ok .

Generally, no it doesn't. I'm not one of these serial spelling critics or text msg critics either. But you would expect people to know the name of one of their favourite clubs, no? Remember all the laughs about the Celtic fans who couldn't spell the name of their own club at ER? It's a bit of a pet hate of mine that many people talk about Athletico Madrid when it's Atletico. I don't expect everybody to know that, but I thought it was worth pointing out to someone who claims to be a fan of the club, so he doesna embarrass himsel wi a banner at one o the games.:giggle:

Not surprised, have you checked out their web site? The fans pics is a must. For some reason all their woman fans like to get all their bits out. Not sure if it's a dutch thing or not.
I support Hibs but I'm a fan of a lot of european teams. I have a favourite team in most of the bigger leagues. Used to live in Spain and followed Betis and been to both the Bernabeu and Camp nou. Also went to a lot of Malaga games and the spl should have a look at themselves when it comes to ticket prices. Think you can still get an ST for Malaga for close on half the price of the avarege SPL team. You might think it's only Malaga but remember they playing Real, Barca, Valencia, Sevilla, Athletico etc...

Quite like Newcastle, been to quite a few games including reserve and youth games as well as a trip to the training ground years ago with my dads mate who was a scout. The trip to the training ground was rather funny, they all thought I was the new hot prospect when I walked into the place.

Barcelona and, since Thursday, Utrecht.

Never been to any games yet but I've been supporting birmingham city since 2003, love that they now have lots of hibs and scotland links now. And I'm starting to really like rapid vienna jut cause their fans are so good, would love to go to 1 of their away games.

Real Madrid.

Used to have very close friends in Madrid and after a trip to both big grounds, it had to be Real. Atletico was a bit too much like Tynecastle, more the area than the ground obviously, with a stinking brewery nearby.

Deportivo La Corua was/is another I follow closely as my Dad lives in the region but when I went to see them they were second division, not much wrong with that, but they were utter shite then. Glad to see they have improved so, so much since then.

20th consecutive year in the top division this year I think.:bbb: I believe that can only be bettered by R. Madrid, Bara, Athletic Bilbao and Valencia. Hope it doesn't prove to be a bad omen as I'm a bit worried about this season - serious debts, poor crowds, and an over-reliance on young or relatively unknown players to come in and do the business while Sergio and Filipe Luis have now gone. It's going to catch up with them sooner or later I feel.

Halifax Town although don't attend as much now. I can't get into the league they are in as the standard of football is poor. They are in one below the conference north.

The crowds are still good got 1700 other day and over 3200 for one game last season.

Spurs
Cardiff
Eintracht Frankfurt

Get down regulary to the Lane & also to Cardiff. Been to a few Frankfurt games with Smokin Bob but not recently.

Preston North End - Season Tickets. Leave the house at 2:35, get in our seats for kick-off at 3:00 and home for 5:30... and they play That's Entertainment at the final whistle when North End win.:dunno: Love the Lilywhites, but I'd still rather be on Easter Road every other Saturday.

Liverpool go to Anfield a fair bit besides Easter Road and of course the mighty blues Waterford United

Lancaster City. Don't mind it when Spurs, Genoa and Sevilla have good seasons.
