We got humped 6-1 by Celtic in 1972 and learned our lesson. We went back and stuffed them 5-3 in the Dryburgh then won 2-1 in the league cup. We need to do the same, learn from our mistsakes and go one better.

Going to Hampden every year for a kick in the nuts is not acceptable. The choice of teams above makes it double unacceptable.

For the sake of a minimal investment in a decent journeyman goalkeeper, nothing fancy, not a Goram or a Leighton, we could be at least 12 points better off in the league and looking at a cup final with Gretna.

Is it too much to ask that we could have a half decent goalie who isn't a total numpty.

I haven't felt like this since we gave away Ian Munro to the Huns for Graham Fyffe and Aly somebody, I can't even remember his name. Munro was class and we picked up two baloons. I swore I wouldn't watch Hibs while those two were on their books, and I didn't.

I'm really close to making the same promis about Malkowski. I really don't want to see this guy in a Hibs strip again.

Mowbray is happy to play 18/19/20 year old defenders, midfield players and forward. Why not just try the young laddie we sent to Raith. he certainly can't be any worse than the present incumbents. I least I could live with a young goalie making a mistake now and again as he learns his trade but the keepers we have now are meant to be past that stage. Fully trained mature professionals.

Yet how many Scottish cups did they win In the end no matter how much better they were, they achieved little more. Seems to be a Hibs tradition to piss our chances down the drain when we really have a chance.

theres no really much point in complainin about the lack of activity in the transfer market becasue it seems quite clearly to me that we will never be able to spend a fee or buy in great quality on a player now and am pretty sure wel see fuk all of Garrys transfer fee in the summer.
