Greetings from Strangford, County Down!!! :applause:

Bridie and I (and possibly a guest) are definately coming up to Belfast for the game, lads. The only thing is that we're not staying over, and will head back down to Downpatrick after the game. I hope yous' don't mind.

I will need help in finding The Oak as well, as the only part of that area I can remember is the Grosvenor Roundabout. Would it help anyone if I parked near The Europa? Or is that too far away?

Cheers,
Scoobs.

there should be room at the side or front of the bar no problem.

the bar is facing the entrance to the rvh on the grosvenor road, as you are coming up the grosvenor road from the roundabout it is on the right, look out for a chemist it sticks out a bit, the bar is just past that.
i will be there when you arrive defo if there is no room for parking my mate lives within 200 yards and you can park outside his house.

remember 2pm kickoff.

I'll pass your number to Mike, no worries. He was talking about going along so hopefully he'll see you on Sunday.

Glad you're able to make it Scoobie. I'm genuinely p1ssed off to say that I can't be there but it looks as if Fizzure, IAte and Nike will be at The Oak. Ned would usually be there but he's away to ER for the game, the luckily bollix!

The Oak is very easy to find and if you are stuck you can get to it very easily from the city centre -
Drive down past the front of the Europa heading away from Botanic/South Belfast, then...
Take a right at the Opera House onto the Grosvenor Road
Straight on at the roundabout and The Oak is a couple of minutes up the road on the right.

Have a good time all - I'll be shouting myself hoarse elsewhere.

8-0!!

Cheers, I pretty much know exactly where it'll be now. And thanks for reminding me it's a 2pm KO..... it's easily a 40-45 minute drive from here (including navigating the streets of Belfast), so I'll need to leave earlyish. Bridie will be with me definately, not sure about the guest as his dad gave him a bit of stick last night (Celtic lot), so he might not go now.

Cheers n' beers,
Scoobs.

Now that we are back home in Bonnie Dundee I just thought I would send a wee shout to I Ate Jam Tarts and Fizzure to say thanks for letting me 'n'Scoobs join you on your home territory (for a change) to watch the derby on Sunday.

We enjoyed your company in The Oak and had a top time in Belfast. Looking forward to being over again in March.
See you then guys. :applause: :applause: :applause:
