Never too old to try something new...or push yourself a bit further...depending on health of course. Having taken up running 6 years ago, I took a massive leap forward this weekend in taking part in the Loch Ness 24. That is you do as many 4.3 mile loops as many times as you can in 24 hours, and an extra lap if you get in to another lap before the 24 hours are up. I'm usually nowhere in races, but because many people do not fancy, or cannot do the whole 24 hours, I amazed myself by finishing 29th of 256 solo runners running and walking 74 miles in 24.20. Unlike many I didn't have a support team either so sorted my own food/change of clothes etc.

What have you done lately that is new but challenging? Doesn't have to be sport related

Well done mate.
I joined this place - very challenging at times 😆

Wow, well done Davy, that’s really impressive

I don’t think I could do that on a bike lol

Amazing what the mind can do. There's days I can barely run a mile, preparing it in the mind is key

Almost 75 miles in a day!
That is bonkers without a support team.
Well done Davy!

Well done Davy!

Was pretty mad route as well. Hills, trails through forest with tree roots coming out the ground like something out a horror movie and pebbled beach. There was a three man team of jugglers in the relay, they juggled 3 balls all the way round for 24 hours and at night changed to glow in the dark balls.how they got through the forest I have no idea, but they passed me like I wasn't there. Mental! And to top it they came second of 54 teams
