Looks good, with a decent line up of bands. I find it strange that it is being staged the same weekend as the Brighton rally though - surely lots of folk would have attended both events if they had been staged on separate weekends?

Going with train, having a night in London on the Friday, before spending two nights in Brighton. Is it The New Untouchables that do Volkes nightclub on the Saturday Mark? Really want to get to this.

Looks good, with a decent line up of bands. I find it strange that it is being staged the same weekend as the Brighton rally though - surely lots of folk would have attended both events if they had been staged on separate weekends?

Add to that the IOW which is also on the same weekend. Although that is predominantly a scooter rally there are still 100's of Mods that take their scooters over on the ferry.

They do the daytime stuff at the volks mate, at night they use the komedia - fantastic wooden dancefloor on bottom floor, mostly northern and rnb, great room on the middle floor with fantastic psych mixed in.

They usually book an extra venue round the corner a week or so before the weekender for the night stuff on as the all nighters sell out. Hey they may have booked the volks for extra night stuff this year.

I've had me digs booked for this since the end of last year - only a few mins walk from Volks bar. I take it the Komedia is close by?

I've had me digs booked for this since the end of last year - only a few mins walk from Volks bar. I take it the Komedia is close by?

10/15 mins walk - Volks is on the seafront near the marina whereas the komedia is up past the lanes. There are a few bars near it that have djs paying mod stuff all/day night during the weekend - The Hart and Hand in particular was a good place to go after the Volks and before the Komedia
