Watching Canterbury Bulldogs v New Zealand Warriors.
Play stopped because one of the players has blood coming from his ear.
On close up , the guys ear is split open from the top edge down by about 3cm.
Needs stitched..... ....but not yet.
The trainer wraps his ear to the side of his head with gaffer tape , and away he goes!
A stray hand to the chest has a footballer rolling around in mortal agony!
As one rugby league player said; 'the difference between us and soccer players is, we spend 80 minutes trying hard to not look hurt. Soccer players spend 90 minutes trying to look hurt'.
