Wouldn’t say they were remarkable.Mitchell has been frozen out by the club who have been desperate to get him off the wage bill.
Suspect we lost a load of cash on him given we brought him in for a fee.
That's a remarkable 9 players we have potentially moved out this window!
Maybe they are saving the money to pay him offIts all being set up nicely with players being offloaded right, left and center as well as a substantial transfer fund being set up.
Porto was always going to go in this window as was Nissy now that he proved his fitness and the valuation was met.
The huge elephant in the room is once you balance the budget is whether you then give the substantial remainder of the kitty to Johnson (and the laddie) to spend on restructuring the team over the next two windows or do you sack him by the end of the week.
The odds so far that is that Johnson will stay which on the evidence to date is the wrong call.![]()

I think (hope) LJ will get money to make another 2-3 decent signings, even loan/short term, to try to push us up the table. There is a very decent kitty building, could soon be boosted further with a percentage of Josh Doig’s next move.
I don’t think Johnston will get a penny. It looks like they are building up a kitty for the new Director of Football (and whoever their pick for new Manager is) to spend in the summer.
Johnston will be left to get us as far as he can with what’s left, or the interim team of May & Gray will.
Either that or Ron will padlock the gates and do a runner with the money![]()
SDG seems like a counterargumentMitchell, Johnston and McAllister are evidence that there should be a robust “no ex-Hearts *&*^” policy at Hibernian.

I suspect he was sidelined by LJ after his very short come back. IIRC he had a couple of wee strops on twitter. Smelled of a fall-out to me.Frozen out? He came back then got injured again after being sidelined for months. Waste of a wage. Good riddance.
Didn't know his Ma had remarried.Seemed injured constantly, although his foot was in a moon boot after Arbroath so don’t think it was fake. And apparently a new father which might have effected things.
Managed a couple goals in limited appearances unlike most of the squad.
Possibly on a decent wage though so hopefully someone more useful can come in.
If your a private member read the Club Concerns thread. I think Hauge gets a mention in the OP. No sure about Delferriere. Not entirely unrelated: anyone know what Runar Hauge's been up to? I'd forgotten he was back at the club ('end of the season' being different in Ireland) but he doesn't seem to have played for the dev squad or been on the bench recently. Injured? Unfavoured? Am I just not looking hard enough?
Same question for Delferriere, though he's been back for a shorter period so I'm less ruffled by it

I thought Hauge and Delferrier would have been going out on loan to a Championship club but they are still here. Not entirely unrelated: anyone know what Runar Hauge's been up to? Delferriere was recalled from FC Edinburgh a fortnight ago.I thought Hauge and Delferrier would have been going out on loan to a Championship club but they are still here.

So Gordon Smith became a Hearts *&*^.Gray, Cummings and Doig never played for the first team there so they get a pass… no a full Hearts *&*^ until you play for them.
I've heard a few times that hearts were after Cummings and may still be interestedGray, Cummings and Doig never played for the first team there so they get a pass… no a full Hearts *&*^ until you play for them.
