I didn't suggest GM was giving Mackay pelters. In fact he said that the fact that Ross County had finished in the top 6 meant that "he must doing something right". And I don't consider making a factual statement about very serious background issues involving a potential candidate for Hibs manager amounts to "tagging him with the usual pointless negativity". My point was about the hypocrisy issue and not intended as a swipe at GM. For example, I won't be sending good wishes to Putin, who is said to be suffering from Parkinson's and cancer. Thankfully, he isn't, so far, in for the Hibs gig.
