Retires from management at 65.

I could never quite see what club chairmen saw in him as a manager to be honest. He never seemed to do well anywhere, but still managed loads of clubs north and south of the border.
He was a tremendous striker when he played, but for me was never a good manager.

Bad tempered ignorant cvnt of a man.
 
I'm sure he did okay for Motherwell for a spell. Had some big jobs but was never a fan.

Theres dozens like him.
Job after job with nothing to show for any of them.
 
Won promotions with Reading, Millwall and Brighton. Also led Motherwell into the uefa cup.....

Absolutely grade A walloper off a guy though - no surprise the gunts tried to poach him from Motherwell.
They'd have been a perfect match.
