Field day / disaster for various tribes of bampots in the - my hunch, unlikely - event this theory gains more evidence:

Long story short; hominid remains found in Greece and Bulgaria predate anything found in Africa, supporting theory that hominids split from apes in eastern med and crossed land bridge into Africa.
